Netherland all set to play World Cup in India

The beautiful country of Netherland has qualified for the cricket World cup to be played in India, later this year. Chasing a score of 277 against the second largest country in United kingdom, Scotland, allrounder Bas de Leede with his 123 runs and a 5 wicket haul, brought his A game, when it mattered the most.

With Srilanka already qualified, the next two matches of World cup qualifiers are dead rubber. The one between WestIndies and Srilanka, WestIndies with their t20 approach in ODI, or rather T10 approach can only fancy to play the 2027 World cup to be played in Southafrica and Zimbabwe.

Although Netherland will want to give a tough fight to Srilanka who have played 3 World cup finals till now, winning the one in 1996 and then have to be satisified with runner up title in 2007 and 2011 against Australia and India respectively.

With still the air not clear on whether Pakistan will be travelling to India or not, Scotland firmly standing at number 3 position will fancy their chance to play some World cup cricket later this year.

As for fans, they know what Srilankan team can do in ICC trophies, they will want Netherland to enjoy their time in India and give the fans some upset to set the new records of viewership.
