Lowest totals successfully defended by RCB

When we talk about lowest totals, RCB certainly have made lots of them.

8 times RCB have been bundled out under 100 in IPL history but when it comes to defending low totals, there have been some low scoring matches when RCB fan got something to cheer about their team’s bowling when batsman didn’t play as they would have liked.

Let’s look at the lowest total successfully defended by RCB in IPL history :-

1)126 against CSK, 2008 :– RCB doesn’t have good record against CSK but this one time they were able to defend a low score of 126 against CSK batting comprising of Raina, Dhoni and their head coach Stephen Fleming.

Anil Kumble took 3 for 14 for RCB.

2)133 against RR, 2009 :- The next season RCB again were able to defend a low score of 133. Anil Kumble this time putting a even better performance with a 5 wicket haul.

3)145 against KXIP, 2009 :- Another low score successfully defended in the same season. Yuvraj Singh made quickfire half century of just 34 balls but didn’t get support of any other batsman.

4)149 against SRH, 2021 :- Shahbaz Ahmed 3 wickets for 7 runs in 2 over completely derailed the chase of SRH as they got behind RCB by runs.
