IPL is the most prestigious t20 cricket tournament in the world. The fans all around the world love the tournament for all the big names coming together to play with unheard uncapped players.

While we often hear nowadays that cricket has become a batter game with rules powerplays all favoring batters and bowlers really need to be on the top of their game to put some mark in the most difficult format for them, the t20 cricket.

Lets look at the 5 times the bowlers brought their A game just at the right time as they defended the minimum runs in the final over and gave the fans a match to remember for life :-

1) 4 runs, Rajasthan Royals vs Mumbai Indians (2008) :- Mumbai Indians is not known to loose close encounters but they also went under the radar chasing 145 runs and 4 runs in final over against Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2019.

With Harbhajan Singh at one end and 3 wickets still to play, anyone has hoped a easy win for Mumbai Indians but the “Bharuch express” Munaf Patel straight lines and panic by the lower order batsman saw Mumbai Indians bowled out for 143, a defeat of 2 runs. Game of margins they say rightly.

3) 5 runs, Rajasthan Royals vs Deccan Chargers, 2010 :- Once again its Rajasthan Royals who held their nerve calm and snactched the victory from Deccan Chargers mouth.

3 dismissals in the final over of Siddharth Trivedi as Rohit Sharma was stranded at non striker end, but when he got the chance to take his team home on the penultimate ball with 3 runs required, Rohit Sharma got caught out. Such a anti-climax for hitman fans.
