Indian Premier League, IPL started in 2008. From then it has witnessed several records in the making. From team highest score of 263 by RCB, to team lowest score of 49, from time to time fans get to see the extremes.
Lets look at the highest individual score made by a player in the history of IPL –
1)Christopher Henry Gayle :- No surprises here as the hard hitting Universe Boss has made the highest individual score in the history of IPL.
The 175 run knock of Chris Gayle in 66 balls with 17 sixes helped RCB to put their highest score ever, and also the highest total of IPL, 263 runs against Pune Warriors in 2013.
2)Brendon Mccullum :- The very first match of IPL saw a one sided affair as KKR totally crushed RCB on 18 April 2008.
Brendon made 158 runs with 13 sixes.
3)Quinton De Kock :- A very interesting scorecard for LSG as both the openers De Kock and KL Rahul remain unbeaten. LSG made 210 runs and Kolkata Knight Riders got inches close to the total, falling short by only 2 runs.
The match saw the arrival of Rinku Singh in world cricket as he made 40 runs of just 15 balls.
These are top 3 highest scorers, for number 4 and 5 we have Ab De Villers 133 not out and KL Rahul 132, that too also not out.
