After Srilanka and Netherland managed to claim top 2 spots of ICC World Cup Qualifier, we finally have the final schedule of ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.
The World cup will commence from 5 October 2023 and then finishing on 19 November 2023, giving the World a new World Champion.
While India certainly possess the home advantage, Srilanka and specially Pakistan will try to exploit the known asian conditions.
Though the cloud is still not clear on whether Pakistan will be coming to India or not, most likely the decision will not disappoint cricket fans.
Recently, Misbah Ul Haq also weighed on that Pakistan should travel to India as Pakistan cricket team will enjoy the extra pressure that will motivate them to perform better and the conditions will also suit them.
WestIndies though, after humiliating performance in World cup qualifiers, will have to see the World Cup from the home.
Playing their first World Cup, Netherland on the other hand can lighten up the biggest of tournament by producing few upsets.
As for Indian fans, chilly winter nights and have the choice to watch World Cup directly from the ground or from their home flat screen, they couldn’t have asked for more.
For the first time, the World Cup trophy is sent into space.
An out-of-this-world moment for the cricketing world as the #CWC23 trophy unveiled in space. Marks a milestone of being one of the first official sporting trophies to be sent to space. Indeed a galactic start for the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup Trophy Tour in India. @BCCI @ICC… pic.twitter.com/wNZU6ByRI5
