Virat Kohli has been an icon for many young players for his discipline and performances on the field and players have been quite vocal about the same. Time and again several young players have shown their respect to the former Indian captain through their gestures in public evidence of which was on display after the opening match of IPL 2024 between CSK and RCB when wicketkeeper batter Samer Rizvi removed his cap before shaking hands with Virat Kohli.
Rizvi’s respectful gesture towards Kohli was applauded by people on social media with them praising Rizvi for his beautiful actions after the match.

Rizvi got featured in the playing 11 against RCB in the opening match of IPL 2024 but couldn’t get a chance to bat as Dube and Jadeja won the match easily for CSK.
