1)Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar ( 3 times ) :– Perfect 100 centuries for Master Blaster in his 24 years of cricket but he could have saved himself some frustration of getting out 3 times on 99.
2)Sanath Jayasuriya ( 2 times ) :- With more wickets in ODI than late great Shane Warne, Sanath Jayasuriya could have surpassed the 30 century mark if he would have luck to his name on the two occasions he got dismissed on painful number of 99.
3)Jos Butler (1 time):- Jos Butler also found himself victim of nervous 99 as he was caught and bowled by Rampaul on 99. He would have got some relied that his team mate Joe Root got to a century.
4)Rahul Dravid (1 time) :- A well disguised slow delivery from speed star Shoaib Akhtar as the wall got deceived and played the ball on the wicket. A great match too which Indian won by 5 runs.
5)Virat Kohli (1 time ):– Again the Ravi Rampaul dismissing a batsman on 99. Salt on the wounds as West Indies chased down 288 runs in final over.
6) Rohit Sharma( 1 time) :- After Kohli fans, 3 years later it was heart break for Rohit fans as the captain was caught behind on 99.
Manish Pandey announced his arrival on big stage with a very calculated innings of 104 of just 81 balls in Sydney but he failed to continue with the form he shown in this match in his career.
There have been other players too who were unlucky to got out on 99. AB de Villiers, Geoffrey Boycott and Adam Gilchrist were also dismissed on 99 in their career.
