1.Chandigarh
In the 2019–20 season, Chandigarh made their senior debut by competing in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, the Vijay Hazare Trophy, and the Ranji Trophy.They were the most recent squad to be included in the competition.Although they have never advanced past the group round, their performances are gradually getting better.Sandeep Sharma, who presently plays for the Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League, is the only well-known player on the team.
2.Uttarakhand
The BCCI added eight teams to the Rajni Trophy for the 2018–19 season, Uttarakhand being one of them.Despite having fewer well-known players, they were still able to go to the quarterfinals three times.Among the players we could recognise are Akash Madhwal (who plays for Mumbai in the IPL) and Swapnil Singh (who presently plays for RCB in the IPL).
3.Pondicherry
In 2018 Pondicherry was added as the newest team in the Ranji Trophy. They participated in their debut Ranji Trophy game in November 2018, playing Meghalaya in the 2018–19 competition. 4.Nagaland

5.Meghalaya
