Who is Mahika Gaur – the 17 year old tall England fast bowler

Mahika Gaur is all set to play for England. The 17 year old England born 6 feet 2 inches tall girl has been included in the upcoming series against Srilanka.

At the age of 17, she is seen as someone who can make a big name for herself and her country.

Mahika Gaur was born in England and have lived in India for 6 years, after that her family moved to Dubai and she joined the ICC academy. Her father is also left arm fast bowler.

In Dubai she was spotted by Lancashire cricket officials in Dubai Expo 2020. Soon he got the UK passport and he flew to England to play for the lancashire club.

But before that she has also participated for UAE in several tournaments from age 12. At ICC under 19 Women T20 World cup Asia Qualifier, she took 5 for 2 runs as Nepal was all out for 8 runs. Yes 8 runs indeed.

She has also played the 2022 season of the hundred for Manchester Originals.

Looking at her action, she stand tall, and her action has that kind of loopiness which which get her pitch in right areas and get the swing.

Well, as for now this is all good news for 17 year old, as she will learn along the way and will look to start her career on high against Srilanka.
