Played in beautiful Dubai international cricket stadium, Newzealand crawled their way to 142/8 in 20 overs. For kiwis, Mark Champman played a brilliantly paced innings of 63 runs of 46 balls. The left arm spinner Ayan Khan was the pick up of the bowler sending 3 kiwi batsman to the dugout.
In reply, UAE made a mockery of the target, chasing the score of 142 in 15.4 overs and stunned the cricket fraternity. For them Muhammad Waseem led the charge with a fast paced innings of 55 runs of 29 balls, and well supported by Vritya Aravind who made 25 runs of 21 balls.
