The two teams came face to face in the second semifinal of the World Cup.
After hitting 2 back to back boundaries, South Africa needed just one run to win the match.
Klusener played third ball dot and Alan Donald on the non striker end took a start and was run out if ball would have hit the stumps.
Next ball, Klusener played the ball straight and he ran, but Donald has this fear from the previous ball, he didn’t run till the ball passed him, and when he ran, it was already too late.
There was sure shot run there if he would have just run when Klusener hit the ball.
What a heart failure kind of day for Proteas and Proteas fans.
