Rajasthan Royals was at the top of the table before todays game and that’s not a different scenario for them.

In previous IPL seasons also the Men in Pink had strong starts to the season but its the middle and the end phase where Rajasthan Royals team performance starts to fade.

Playing their 7th match today and chasing a score of 223 against KKR, Rajasthan Royals batsman knew they had a big task to their hand and they need to come up with all guns blazing from ball one if they fancy any chance of getting near to that total.

But their main batsman, who missed out the last match, Butler didn’t have that great start to his innings, he was looking scratchy and that’s not the Butler we have seen.

But its not about how you start, its how you finish is what makes you. Butler then scored a splendid hundred 107 not out, just 2 runs short of the first innings blast from KKR top order batsman Sunil Narine.

Rajasthan Royals will next play MI on 22nd April and Kolkata Knight Riders will go against the bottom of the table RCB on a day game on Sunday.
