South Africa has outplayed India in the very first test match at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. The spin friendly pitch which challenged Proteas in the first innings, as the visitors only managed mere 159 runs in the first innings, turned against the home team in the fourth innings, as the Indian team got out to just 93 runs, falling 30 short of the target.
Indian team suffered an additional blow too, as their captain Shubhman Gill did not play in the second innings because of the neck spasm.
