Fastest to 150 wickets – S F Barnes of England is fastest to 150 test wickets. He achieved this milestone in 1913 in his 24th match.
Fastest to 200 wickets – Yasir Shah of Pakistan is fastest to 200 test wickets. He achieved this milestone in 2018 against Newzealand in his 33rd match.
Fastest to 250 wickets – R Ashwin of India is fastest to 250 wickets. He achieved this milestone in 2017 against Bangladesh in 45 matches.
Fastest to 300 wickets – R Ashwin again of India is fastest to 300 wickets. He achieved this milestone in 2017 against Srilanka in 54 matches.
Fastest to 350 wickets – Muralidaran of India is fastest to 350 wickets. He achieved this milestone in 2001 against Bangladesh in his 66th match.
Fastest to 400 wickets – Muralidaran again is fastest to 400 wickets. He achieved this milestone in 2002 against Zimbabwe in his 72nd match.
Fastest to 450 wickets – Muralidaran again is fastest to 450 wickets. He achieved this milestone in 2003 against Newzealand in his 80th match.
Fastest to 500,600,700,800 wickets – Muralidaran is fastest to 500,600,700,800 wickets. It took him 87,101,113,122,133 matches to achieve this milestone.
